Disney Day!

On Valentine's Day, we went to our favorite bagel shop in the morning where we met up with Travis' mom and dad and also Tyler and Desiree, who had just flown in that morning. We sat and chatted for a while and then made our way to Disneyland! We had such a fantastic time showing around Teagan, Shaun, and the kids, as well as Barbara and Morris, our favorite place to go. Again, I forgot my camera at home (I thought I had brought it but then realized it was sitting right where I left it, on my kitchen counter at home :( ) but Teagan took some amazing pictures and so I get to borrow them! WARNING: Many, many, many pictures ahead! :)
Graham had so much fun talking and smiling at his cousin Charlotte. He loved every second they were here!

We walked right in and saw Pluto. He was nice enough to stop and chat with Charlotte.

Cute, happy boy!

Talking away!

I think Teagan and Shaun had the most fun out of us all. Here they are on one of many rides they got to go on.

For lunch, we had to take them to the Corn Dog Castle. Here is Teagan and Charlotte waiting in line.

You can't not have some cotton candy when you go to Disneyland!

We stopped by the Bug's Life Land where the girls got to ride some fun rides. Just as a side note, I left the house with NO diapers for Graham. While they were in Bug's Life, we went to the Hotel California guest services desk where they gave three diapers for free! Disneyland is the best!

Haha! I love this picture! It looks like a Paparazzi photo with our famous Teagan being dragged along by her famous husband Shaun! Don't you think so?!

Shaun, Teagan, and Charlotte enjoying the bumper cars.

Mommy and Daughter! So cute!

Preparing to get "soaked" on Heimlichs Chew Chew Train! I think they were a little disappointed. :)

Everyone at California Adventure. Next stop, Disneyland!

Everyone at the entrance to Disneyland.

It was crowded, but not too bad. Here is Charlotte and Teagan walking by Tomorrowland.

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa with us! Hopefully we can start a tradition!

Charlotte's favorite ride, the tea cups! Here is Barbara, Charlotte, and Teagan posing in the teacup.

We almost lost Charlotte to the Wicked Witch from Snow White!

This was as close as we could get to the Princesses. The wait was two hours!! Charlotte was disappointed but there is always next time!

What a cute face! Lillian is just so precious!

My two boys! Can you believe how much they look alike!?

Grandpa and Lillian, starting to show their tiredness after such a long, happy day!

Of course, we had to drag the kids on Pirates of the Carribean. Graham loved every second!

Teagan and Lillian waiting to get on the ride.

Graham with his Dad waiting for his first "big boy" ride.

Teagan, Shaun, Lillian, and Charlotte did have a chance to go on the teacups. What fun!

I love Lillian's face in this picture.

Lillian and Graham had a chance to play with each other while we were eating dinner.

Lillian asleep at the end of such a great day!

Charlotte asleep after the end of a great day! And I don't have a picture, but Graham also fell right asleep!

The day is over! :( I think everyone had a great time. Hopefully we will get to do it again, very soon!

Family Visit

A few weeks ago, our Arizona family came down to CA for a visit. We were so excited to have Teagan and Shaun and the girls stay at our place! We have such a tiny apartment and it felt even more cozy than normal with so many peoeple, but we had such a great time and it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them. Travis' parents were also able to come down but they opted for a hotel (I don't blame them, our couches are cofy but not as comfy as a nice matress!). Desiree and Tyler also stopped by on their way to Hawaii (they had a day long layover in LA) and for the first time since Graham's blessing last September, the entire Harmor clan were together again! We had a great time talking and laughing and we even had a chance to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! (I didn't have my camera, so all these pictures are borrowed from Teagan, thanks!)
They came in late Thursday night and due to the impending rain, we spent most of Friday just hanging out. I'm glad to see that even toys meant for six month olds can entertain three and one year olds just fine as seen above!

We had lunch at our local hamburger joint (not quite world's best, but mine was good) where Charlotte and Lillian had fun on this old car.

Graham loved watching his cousins and seeing his Grandma and Grandpa. Here he is with Grandma and his mom.

Grandpa, Grandma, me, and Graham (I think he was begging for a taste of Grandma's purse).

Look how big Lillian is! Shaun tried so hard to get them something out of the machine, but alas, the machine prevailed!

The girls decided to leave the nest and visit the Spectrum. We got there, went into one store, and then came out to pouring, freezing rain! Unfortunately, that stopped our trip and we had to run through the rain to the car. Here is Charlotte soaked to the bone, poor girl!

Barbara stayed the driest with all her layers.

I love the rain, so I was a happy girl!

Next stop, Disneyland!

Cutest Baby Photoshoot

So I decided that it would be fun to enter Graham into the "Cutest Baby Contest" and so I proceeded to hold my very own photo shoot. I just took him down to our pool and sat him on some lounge chairs and just took a bunch of pictures. It wasn't until I entered him that I found out that he wasn't old enough (I know, cutest baby contest doesn't actually include babies) but I wanted to share all of these pictures. I think he wins for being the cutest, I mean, who could resist those dimples!

I think I picked this one.

My two boys.

Graham is very expressive, this is one of his many faces.

Here is another. I love how he can lift his eyebrows. You can just tell he is thinking, ALL the time!

Doing our best to get him to smile.

I also liked this one, in fact I may have picked this, who knows!?

I guess there is always next year!

Yummy Cereal

As Graham neared six months, we were able to start feeding him some rice cereal! I'm not to sure who was more excited, me or ...me! Graham had no idea what was going on, but it was still very exciting to say the least. :) We sat him in his high chair and put on a very cute new bib and then proceeded to try to get him to understand that the spoon I am putting in his mouth is actually supposed to be there! Haha! He was a little hesitant at first and I can only imagine that the flavors of rice cereal weren't exactly what he wanted when he got to try solid food for the first time, but I must say that since that first day, he has taken a liking to rice cereal. Here are some pictures from this momentous occasion:
Look at that adorable face! He looks like such a big boy sitting in his high chair, anxiously awaiting some rice cereal.

The doctor also told me to start giving him water in a sippy cup. We are still working on the tilting the head part, but at least he knows where the water is supposed to come out of!

Haha! I love this picture. He looks so thrilled!

Here is our smiley boy! Yum, Yum, Yum!

He didn't quite know what to do, but neither did his mommy. I just kinda used his upper gums to make sure I got some in his mouth. I know it starts with boring rice cereal, but it is exciting to try to open your child's eyes to the wonderful world of eating food!

Tagged

Hey everyone! Yes, we are alive. It has been a crazy last few weeks but I think we have gotten through the worst of it. Our household has been sick and more sick for the last several weeks. I finally took Graham to the doctor today and it turns out that he has a bad ear infection in his right ear. Hopefully the antibiotics will help him. The good news is that I have a happy sick child who continues to light up our lives, despite how miserable he may be feeling.
Well, I have so much to catch up on, but I thought I would start out with this tag I got from my sister-in-law forever ago. The rules are to pick the sixth folder and then sixth picture in your picture folder. I wanted to mix it up a little and I picked the sixth folder from the bottom.
Here it is:
It is an adorable picture of my neice Payton (on the right) with her friend Tara. I think she is about ten months in this picture if I have the date correct. It's actually funny because I have her friend Tara in my mom's preschool class that I help out with and it is adorable to see her so little. She is a couple months younger than Payton.
So now I am going to tag: Amy, Emily, and Jill
