Today we leave for Lake Powell and as you can tell by these pictures below that I took last night while we packed up our boat, Travis and I aren't the only ones excited:

Birthday and Harry Potter!

Yes, I had a birthday and I will say that it was one of the best yet! My sweet husband tries so hard to surprise me with gifts and so they turn out to be incredibly creative, things that I wouldn't think he would get me (I have an uncanny nack of guessing my gifts correctly). He did a great job this year and I was completely surprised! It was a great day!
Graham was happy that it was my birthday!

Here I am opening up one of my many presents with my grandma in the background. I am so lucky to have family nearby to celebrate my birthday with!

Graham spoiled me this year by getting me some great books and a gift card to Barnes and Nobles where I picked out some great books for Lake Powell.

Travis suprised me with tickets to see Fiddler on the Roof and some rainbow sandals, my favorite! He always picks out the best, made in the factory sandals, so fun!

Since it was birthday, I got the boys to take a family picture, I think they turned out really cute!

My mom made me a great cake, yes, i turned the big 27 this year! I had such a great birthday! Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and for making my day so special!
A couple days after my birthday, Harry Potter came out and many of you knew how excited Iwas for this movie! This meant staying up to watch the midnight showing! My mom babysat Graham and we got to go see the movie! We went with my brother and his friend Joy and we had a great time playing cards while waiting for the movie to begin. It was a great movie and we had a great time!
Here is Joy and Tyler, looking excited for the movie!

Travis and I, waiting in line! It was worth, what a great movie! Never good enough but still, it was great fun!

Fireworks at the Beach!

We had a fun filled day on the fourth which started with Travis and I running in the Lake Forest 5K (not my idea). My mom, Nate, and Teagan all really wanted to run in it and they dragged Travis and I along with them. It was a lot harder than I could have ever imagined and it made me realize how out of shape I was, but I accomplished my goal of finishing it under an hour, I think we did 43 mins and that was with pushing Graham in the stroller. Now I have a goal for next year's race! I didn't get any pictures but thats ok. Next we went to my parent's ward pancacke breakfast which was super yummy and then went to the Lake Forest parade. It was fun but really hot! We needed a few hours to relax out of the sun, so we went home to rest. Then it was off to Dana Point to watch the fireworks. It was the perfect setting, the moon was almost full and the fireworks were amazing! It was some of the best I have seen and sitting on the beach was perfect. I can't wait for next year!
Graham and Travis are relaxing by the beach as we wait for dinner to come.

Our family picture with out matching shirts! Aren't we cute!? :)

My favorite beach shot.

Graham was loving being at the beach, I know he will be a beach bum one day.

As the sun went down, it got cold so we all bundled up as we waited for the fireworks.

Grandma and Grandma Harmor glad to be out of the sun!

The kids had a great time playing the sand.

Both Grandma Sims'!

Teagan brought some awesome fourth of July decorations for us to wear. We were pretty dorky looking but we had a great time!

Graham even dressed up for our family picture!

Payton all dressed up!

Charlotte, Payton, and Lillian looking festive!

Charlotte and Payton with big smiles!

Payton and Nate getting ready for the fireworks!

Grandpa was helping all the kids get some glow necklaces.

Here we are all bundled up right before the fireworks started! Of course, Graham was asleep before it started but I am not sure he would have enjoyed them anyway, he hates loud noises!

What a great fourth!

Beach Day!

This fourth of July was the best that we have had in a long time and I think we have started a few new traditions. Travis' mom, dad, sister, and her family all came into town to spend the weekend with as well as my sister and her family. We had so much fun surrounded by our family and friends! Since the fourth fell on a Saturday this year, everyone had Friday off so we spent the whole day at the beach. We even had a bonfire that night where we roasted hot dogs and had s'mores. It was a great day at the beach!
Graham loves playing in the sand.

Charlotte and Owen are building some sand castles.

My boy loves Doritos! We discovered this as we watched him dig through the bag of chips trying to get some for himself. This was the first time he had done this and I couldn't help but think it was adorable.

The prince is sitting on his throne enjoying the spoils of his search through the Doritos bag.

My boys looking out at the ocean.
Graham knew I was watching them so he gave me a smile. :)

Charlotte and Payton spent the whole day in the water. They had a great time together.

Miss Lillian enjoyed her time at the beach as well, she was the star of the show!

Such a little doll!

These three were the three musketeers the whole weekend! Payton, Spencer, and Charlotte. (Spencer is the son of my sister's friends who were also visiting from Fresno)

Travis decided to get revenge from our wedding day when I stuffed our wedding cake in his face by stuffing my face with this delicious cupcake.

Travis and Nate are roasting hot dogs. Yummy!
Everyone enjoyed their hot dogs. What a great idea!

Travis and Graham are getting warm by the fire.

Charlotte and Lillian had such a great time at the beach!

Farm!

On the OC Fair grounds, there is this great little farm that is open everyday for free (except during the fair). We decided that it would be fun to have a picnic on the grounds and then walk around to see the animals. It was a great trip!
Here we are having our picnic, yummy!

Payton loved her sandwich!

So did Graham!

Here is Graham with a huge cow. He didn't know what to think!

Here I am trying to get Graham to pet the cow. I think I was more nervous than Graham was.

Graham and Payton posing for a picture.

Owen was a little too short but I love his little face!

Graham got a little friendly with the sheep.

Graham and I had such a great time at the farm.
