Home Again!

Well, I thought I would just leave a quick note to let everyone know that we have made it home safely. Travis and I both had to immediately go back to work so we haven't even really settled back into things. THen to top it off, I got sick. :( We still haven't been able to even look at our pictures, so we will put them up as soon as we can. So keep checking the blog, they will be up soon!

Safe and Sound in Barcelona!

Hi everyone! We finally have been able to get on the internet, we have been searching and searching and when we got to Barcelona, our hotel has a computer to get internet! So, we just wanted to let everyone know that we are safe and sound, at least for now! :) We are having such a good time and we have seen so many wonderful things. Travis and I treasure every moment of free time that we have, because the kids really know how to wear you out and test the limits of your patience. Luckily, it seems like we have more free time than anything else, so Travis and I have definitely felt like we are on our own and free to discover the cities ourselves. If only we would have known about the free time, we would have done a little bit more research about the places we have gone. Hopefully we haven´t missed out on anything! Since we last wrote, we traveled to France, stayed in Cannes, visited Nice and now we have reached our final destination, Barcelona. Tonight is some kind of fiesta for John the baptist so it is a party out there. Well, i wish we could post some pictures but this computer doesn´t have USB. Hopefully soon or else you will have to see them when we get home! Love you all!

We are here!

Hey Everyone! We just wanted to let everyone know that we have arrived safely here in Italy. It was definitely a long plane ride, but it was nice. Then after we landed we got on a bus and traveled through the countryside to the coastal town of La Spezia. Today we are going to these five small coastal towns right on the beach called Cinque Terra. We are so excited! We get to ride a train right along the beach and then spend a relaxing day walking around and laying on the beach. We could not put pictures up but maybe at another internet point. We shall see. Well, we wish everyone was here with us, cause traveling with 100 teenagers is defintely not ideal. Luckily last night, we were on a floor that didnt have very many kids, so we slept through the night. Some of the other leaders were not so lucky! We will hopefully be able to write more later! Love you guys!

Europe Here We Come!

Travis and I leave tomorrow for our European Vacation!! Now, it isn't as exciting as you may think. We are being chaperones for Mater Dei's school trip, but hey, all the expenses are paid and we are in Europe! We are traveling from Italy, through France, to Barcelona, Spain! Here is a link to our itinerary so you can find out where we are while we are gone.

We will miss everyone and we will see you all when we get back!! Love you guys!

Fun Additions to the Apartment!

Here are a couple of new additions to our apartment! My dad was able to get us an amazing deal on the Toshiba Qosmio, so we splurged and got ourselves a new laptop computer. As you can see, it is huge! Much bigger than our older one. Also, our bed is now complete as we just recently received our new striped sheets. We absolutely love the whole combination and it is so comfy to sleep in!

Mom's Birthday

Today is my mom's birthday and we celebrated by heading to the Irvine Spectrum and eating dinner at this mexican cantina called Javier's. It was delicious. I won't mention how old my mom is today, but she is definitely the youngest and most beautiful grandmother I have ever seen. Happy Birthday Mom!

Bret's Wedding in Oxnard

On June 9, my cousin Bret got married to Whitney in Oxnard, California. As you can see, it was a beautiful setting and the bride and groom seemed very happy to tie the knot. The reception was held at the Mandalay Beach Hotel and everything was decorated so pretty. It was so much fun to see a lot of our family that had flown in for the wedding. Congratulations Bret and Whitney!

Carousel at Spectrum

Payton loves to go on the horses at the Irvine Spectrum and I had that pleasure of taking her while my sister held on tight to Owen on the horse right next to us. Payton was laughing the whole time and as you can see, she was cheering as she got off!

Sunburn!

No matter how much sunscreen her mom put on her this weekend, somehow Charlotte still ended up with a little sunburn. She was such a little trooper though and didn't complain a bit. She really enjoyed the Solarcaine spray that her uncle plastered on her. These pictures are so adorable, I could resist putting them up.

BBQ By The Pool

While everyone was in town, we had such a fun little BBQ by the pool! Travis was so excited to finally pull out our BBQ tools we got from our wedding and he went right to work cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone! Charlotte kept us entertained by playing mom with her purse and phone, it was adorable. It was definitely a nice relaxing Memorial Weekend and everyone is welcome to come back and visit any time. :)

Let's See How High Charlotte Can Go!

Memorial Weekend was so much fun this year when Shaun and Teagan decided to finally take a vacation and visit CA. Travis' parents also decided to come so they could check out our new apartment. Well, to our surprise, we have an amazing pool and Charlotte had so much fun with her dad. Shaun, I think you will be shocked to see how high you really did throw her!
