Birthday!!

Today is a very special day because it is Travis' Birthday!! He is turning 28 today, my old man! :) In honor of his birthday, I thought I would share a few pictures that I thought were adorable.
Here we are celebrating his 24th birthday! Can you believe it? He looks like a little baby with his bright blue eyes. I can't even believe that was four years ago.
Here we are in Hawaii a year later. We actually spent his 25th birthday in Hawaii in the airport, if I remember correctly. I know that this is probably his favorite birthday, he is begging to go back.
Kind of out of order, but thats ok. For his 24th birthday, I bought him tickets to the Swimming Olympic Trials in Long Beach. This is probably his favorite gift. I wish I could get the tickets again for this birthday, but they are somewhere in the midwest.
This is him at his last birthday at claim jumper, his favorite place for steak!!
Here is one of my favorite most recent pictures. Happy Birthday my love! Thank you for letting me be a part of your life and allowing me to spend these past four birthdays with you and I look forward to the many, many, many more we have to celebrate.
Now, Travis is also lucky enough to share his birthday with his sister Teagan so of course, I need to take the time for a shout out to her.

Here we are in Hawaii where we also got to celebrate her 23rd birthday. She was pregnant with Charlotte at the time and I don't know if anyone knows this, but my due date, Aug 31, is what her due date was for Charlotte. I look at this picture and I can't believe how much bigger I am than her. She doesn't even look pregnant!

Here we are with Teagan, Shaun, Morris, Barbara, Charlotte, Travis and I. I put this picture up because I was admiring my bangs. I miss my bangs!! Teagan cut those for me and she is amazing of course.

Happy Birthday Teagan! Thanks for being such a great example of a mother and a great friend. Hopefully we will get to see all of you soon! Love you!

Happy 3 Year Anniversary!

Three years ago, Travis and I were married in the San Diego Temple. These past three years have been amazing and I am so excited for all of the years that we have together in our future. I always hoped that married life would be filled with complete bliss but I never imagined that it would be as blissful and happy as it is now. Travis was so sweet this morning. He got up early and brought me the most beautiful flowers! It was so thoughtful. I love when he surprises me. I wish that our computer was working so I could show you pictures. Three years has flown by and I am so glad that I am able to spend it with the love of my life! :)

Also, some baby news update. It's official! Graham Tyler Harmor will be making his entrance to the world late August! We thought that it was going to be a boy and today, the ultrasound definitely proved that. Everything is going amazing and he is growing healthy and strong. He is already 1 lb, which I guess is on the bigger size. As soon as our computer is fixed, we will post our ultrasound picture for everyone. Now its time to start buying everything this little boy needs!

Update!

Hello everyone! As you can see, we have been extremely bad about doing a new post. The problem is that we finally got our computer back and then we moved, so we didn't have everything set up for a while. Then last week I finally had a chance to put everything in its place, the computer was all set up, and then the worst happened....it broke again!! The exact same problem as last time. So, now I am at work and I had a few minutes so I thought I would just explain that we are indeed alive and well and will hopefully have our computer back again soon. So many things have happened in the last month and I have some fun pictures, but it will have to wait.
But just so everyone knows..the baby is doing great. We think we know what it is but we have another thorough ultrasound on Wednesday where we should know for sure, for sure.
As soon as our computer situation is all figured out, I will definitely post some fun pictures. Thanks everyone!

Presenting My Head Swim Coach :)

Yeah, I am so excited. Our computer suddenly started telling us that it was corrupted when we would turn it on so we have been without our computer for weeks while my dad (what a wonderful guy he is, my hero) fixed it for us. We just got it back and finally I can make a new post!
Travis finally started the 2008 Swim Season and I must say, he is an amazing coach! He works the kids to death trying to get them into shape and things have been going so well. He has had two meets already and his teams have been performing excellently. Their first meet was against Fountain Valley which is a top ten ranked team for both boys and girls. His girls tried their best, but the other team just consistently out performed them. Their team was just better, but the girls definitely gave them some competition. The boys, however, did a great job and ended up winning. It all came down to the final relay and the boys pulled out a win. It was so much fun to watch! Their next meet was against Marina. This time Travis' team won by a considerable amount. He had several kids make new school records and get qualifying times for the big CIF competition at the end of the year. His boys have also been named the number ten team in Orange County! I have truly enjoyed sitting in the stands and rooting for the kids. I know that Travis can be overwhelmed at times but I am really enjoying being his cheerleader! Here are some pictures from the meet:
Here is the Head Coach. Doesn't he look so handsome? This is what they wear to the meets. They look so nice.
This is where they sit to watch the kids swim. He has three other coaches that work with him and they are a great support to him. He has one coach that works with him and then a coach for Junior Varsity and then a coach for Frosh/Soph.
This is their super nice pool with some swimmers swimming the backstroke. I have become quite the swim expert now and I am looking forward to watching our kids swim (cause you know they are going to).
Here are the boys getting ready to start. Very exciting! :)
Travis likes to pace back and forth during certain swims where he is trying to encourage the kids to go faster. He keeps their times and yells at them to keep them going. This is my favorite part to watch. It is just so obvious how much he cares about these kids!

Well, that is what Travis has been up to. I am just relaxing and waiting patiently for this baby to continue to grow. Everything has been going really well so far. We have an appointment on March 25 and we should find out what we are having! We can't wait. :)

All About Travis

My sister tagged me..again..and since it is about Travis, I knew that it would be fun to gloat! Thanks Emily! I love you!

What is his name? Travis
How long have you been together? I have to figure this one out. On March 18th it will be four years since we started dating ...wow I can't believe that. Our three year anniversary is on April 23rd. It has been four years of complete bliss and I can't wait for all of the many years and years ahead of us.
How old is he? he will be 28 in May
Who eats more? Travis
Who said I love you first? I did, I couldn't keep it in and he basically weaseled it out of me. He wanted to wait until my birthday which somehow he managed to program it in my phone so that it would go off at like 6 in the morning. It was amazing to wake up to that!
Who is taller? Travis
Who is smarter? Travis will tell anyone that I am much smarter than him and my dad always told me that I was smarter than everyone, so am just going with the consensus.
Who does laundry? Travis does the laundry and I get to fold. Unfortunately, if he does laundry when I don't have time to fold, it never gets done!
Who does the dishes? We both share this responsibility. Especially being pregnant, I have being feeling nauseous so I have a really hard time doing the dishes so my husband has been so wonderful and has been doing the dishes. I love you honey and you are amazing!!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you were looking at the bed... I do. Lying down, Travis does. Although, every night Travis tries to steal my side of the bed, but I can't sleep on his side. I was listening to the radio the other morning and they were talking about things to know about before you get married. And the first thing the guy said that your first night together, you need to make sure you sleep on the side of the bed that you like because you will be sleeping on that side from that moment on. I thought that was so funny because it was so true! I think Travis regrets that decision. :)
Who pays the bills? I do, its my guilty pleasure.
Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn, but if we did, Travis would definitely mow the lawn. I don't know how my mom let my dad get away with not ever mowing the lawn!
Who wears the pants in the family? Well, Travis put me in charge of finances so I am in charge of that part of our lives, but he definitely is the one I go to to help with all the decisions. So, I think we each have a leg in the pants. :)

This was fun! Now I am going to tag Teagan, Barbara, and Liz! I want to hear you all brag about your wonderful husbands. :)

We were tagged...a long time ago :)

A long, long, long time ago, my sister Emily tagged me and I never got around to doing it. But since nothing too exciting is going on, I thought I would finally do it. However, I am changing the rules a bit and I am going to do it about my husband because I think he is so much more interesting than me. So here it goes:

RULES:

1. List the link to your tagger and also post these following rules.

2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog - some random, some weird, etc.

3. Tag 7 people at the the end of your blog also leaving the links to their blogs

Seven Random Facts about Travis:

1. My husband is so incredibly hardworking. He is in his second year teaching Spanish at one of the local high schools and he is a complete natural. Everybody loves him and he is so lucky to have such a great job. Last year he was one of the assistant coaches for swimming and this year, they made him a head coach! So, next week he starts practice for the season and he will be busy every day until May, but he is so excited for this amazing opportunity. But wait, there is more. He is also in his second semester of graduate school at Loyola Marymount University where is he getting a Masters in Education with a teaching credential and a bilingual certificate. Every Monday night he drives to LA for class. I am so proud of everything he has accomplished this year.

2. Travis is obsessed with skiing! He has this website that he visits called Newschoolers where a bunch of crazy ski bums just sit around and talk about skiing. It used to be his homepage until I started joking that Newschoolers was more important than me. Even though I was kidding, he changed it. Anyways, his dream is to leave in a small ski town where he can go skiing whenever he wants. As long as it doesn't snow too much, I'm game.

3. He has this amazing ability of gaining respect from everyone around him by not really doing anything at all. I think that is why he is such an amazing teacher. All those teenagers respect him so he can control the room with out even trying. This is also helpful with our primary class that we teach together. The other Sunday we were waiting in the hallway for Sr. Primary to start and we were with all of the other classes. The kids were being so rowdy and loud. Travis just told everyone to be quiet and the kids all shut their mouths. It was amazing. If I would have tried that, the kids would have looked at me like I was crazy and continued to be crazy. I was very impressed.

4. Travis loves to do the laundry which is so nice because I think it is such a pain. However, he washes the clothes and then leaves me to fold, which I still don't really like to do but someone has to do it. I think he would probably wash his clothes the second after he is finished wearing it, if I let him.

5. Every morning we eat breakfast together and watch Sportscenter. This is just totally random because I don't think Travis cares about who wins or what teams are playing who but we have to watch it every morning. Sometimes I try to put it on another channel but it always finds its way back to Sportscenter. This works out well for me because then I can talk to all the guys at my work about the sports headlines, but I just think its funny that this is a tradition that we have started each morning.

6. My husband is a polar bear. I remember when we lived in Utah, we slept with the windows open in the dead of winter. It was so hard to get up in the morning because I had to leave my warm bed. Now in California, we don't have extreme cold so Travis compensates by having a fan in our room. We have these french doors in our bedroom and at night, before we go to bed, he opens the doors and places the fan in the open space, puts it on full blast and pulls our sheets all the way down so the room and the bed is as cold as it could possibly be when we go to bed. It takes me forever to warm up but at least I can snuggle up to a polar bear.

7. Lastly, around August 31, 2008, Travis is going to be a first time dad. :) He is very excited and insists that we are having a girl. I try and compensate and call the baby a boy, but he insists. Either way, boy or girl, Travis is going to be an amazing dad and I am so lucky to have him as my husband. He has been beaming ever since we found out and talks to the baby every night. He even bought a book for expectant fathers, so adorable. If only, August wasn't so far away. We'll keep you updated. Here is a copy of our first ultrasound:

Well, I am not going to tag anyone, but feel free to share seven random facts with everyone.

Winter Formal!

Today my handsome brother went to his high school's winter formal dance and of course, I was there to take some pictures. He is taking a nice girl named Megan and they are going to dinner and then the dance and then everyone is coming over to my parents house afterwards to party! Here are some pictures:
Here is Tyler all dressed up. Doesn't he look so handsome?
No, I wasn't his last minute date... we just managed to match so nicely!
Here is Tyler and Megan. They looked so cute together! I hope that they have a great time.
Here is the whole group. They were all going to take a limo to the dance, so they were very excited!

Well, I hope that they all have a good time tonight. Can't you all remember those days? High school...I don't think I could do it again.
