Lake Powell 2010!

The summer wouldn't have been the same without our annual family trip to Lake Powell. It was really exciting this year because Graham is old enough to know how fun it is! He had such a great time and it was so fun to be together as a family and to spend time with my parents.
Graham fell in LOVE with my Uncle Mark. I think he was his favorite part of the trip. And I loved that I didn't need to be only one to entertain him!

Travis and Graham taking their first turn on the jet ski. Graham doesn't look too happy but he loved it!

My two handsome boys!

Happy couple!

Graham taking a bite of our favorite marina treat, ice cream!

Boat time with mom. Yep, he hated his lifevest.

I celebrated my birthday on the boat and Graham helped me blow out my candles!

Happy Birthday to me! :)

Graham got his first tatoo on this trip. Yep, Grandpa gave him his first tatoo.

A lizard! Graham was very nervous at first, but then he loved his tatoo!

Family portrait at Rainbow Bridge.

The whole family that was able to make it this year. We missed everyone else!

I know, we tortured him but we got an exact crying picture here last year. It had to be done, it's tradition. Hopefully next year he smiles!

Graham's new favorite thing to do, drive the boat! This picture isn't really that great, but I love his hair and smile! So cute!
Taking it very seriously. :)

Graham loves his Grandpa!

Another jet ski ride!

Family picture on the jet ski!

Playing the guitar with Uncle Mark!

On a rare occasion, we got to sneak off on the jet ski without Graham. We went deep in the canyon and enjoyed the sites. It was wonderful!

My parents found us and we got a picture of the beautiful canyon. There's nothing like it!

My parents! This trip wouldn't exist without them and I'm so happy that we get to keep coming back because of them. It's one of my favorite times of the year!

The best part, Graham spending time with his grandparents. I wouldn't miss those moments for the world!

Family portrait!

Beautiful lake in the background!

It was a wonderful trip, almost perfect. Unfortunately, my mom hurt herself on the very last day. We found out later that she actually broke her back! Graham was very sweet though and wanted to keep my mom company while she was lying in bed. Hopefully that made her feel a little bit better.

It was a wonderful trip to Lake Powell but it didn't end there! We extended our vacay and stayed the night in Vegas. It was so great! We did decide that we need to go there sometime without Graham, but we had a great time! We didn't take many pictures but we did take a couple of family shots by the Wynn. It is a gorgeous hotel!

My boys matching in green. Too cute!

Great trip this year! Can't wait til next year!

4th of July Weekend!

Now that summer is almost over, I decided to start blogging about our summer! :)
For the Fourth of July this year, we traveled to Arizona to spend some time with Travis' family. We also were there to witness the blessing of our new nephew Gibson, which made the weekend even more special!
It was a surprisingly cool Fourth of July weekend (the temp was only in the 90s, which at this time of year is cool), but we still managed to spend most of our time swimming in the pool. Graham loved every second!!

My two boys smiling after getting out of the pool.

"Laughter is the best medicine" :)

Cute picture of Travis and I after the blessing.

We couldn't get Graham to smile for our family picture, but maybe next time.

Graham playing with his cousins, getting in the spirit of Fourth of July!

Graham in his cute Fourth of July outfit!

More swimming!

Getting ready to watch the fireworks!

Another attempt at a family picture! :) At least Lillian smiled for us!

Graham and I cuddling, I only get to do this during firework shows since he gets scared and wants me to hold him!

Travis and Graham watching the fireworks! Now, we are super spoiled when it comes to fireworks (Disneyland, watching fireworks while sitting on the beach overlooking the ocean, etc.), but we were super impressed! It was a great show! What a wonderful Fourth!

Moving In!

After what seemed like months of being a part (more like 8 weeks), Travis and Graham came to Utah so we could move in! Definitely one of the happiest days of my life, seeing them come off the plane!
First, we had to come check out the house. We were less than one week from moving day! Here is Travis and Graham in the kitchen.

Travis and Graham sitting on our porch in the front yard. Yep, our dirt front yard!

Cute smiles!

We stayed with Emily and Taylor for the week, who were our big lifesavers this move (thank you, thank you!). Of course, Taylor got Travis into looking at 3-D maps!

We got to see plenty of this cute face. I miss seeing Chase every day! Who wouldn't miss seeing this cute face?!

I can't figure out why this picture is sideways, but we attempted hiking up to Timp Caves with Emily, Taylor, Chase, and my brother Tyler and we only got as far as this river near the parking lot, but Graham loved splashing so I think it was big success. We are going to have to try again soon!

Signing day! Travis and I signed our life away that day, but we are so happy with our new house! (And yes, even Graham had to sign his life away, hope he doesn't mind! ;P)

Now it's time to unpack. We had packed all our stuff up way back in January into a PODS so it was fun seeing everything again. I also hadn't seen the PODS all packed up in January so it was amazing to see what the boys did with all our stuff. It was really packed in there!

Travis is pretty amazed at how well everything was packed in!

Trying to decide the best course of action...we just had to jump right in!

Halfway through!

The last box (this picture is also turned, weird). This was our very last box, in the very corner. I thought it was pretty comical that it says "DO NOT STACK!". Not sure how more clear I could have been but surprisingly, not one thing was broken!

Family shot getting ready to take the last box in. I think we finally finished around 11:00 pm, as you can tell Graham is exhausted but he was so good the whole night!

Two happy boys glad that the night is finally over!

As you can see, we had a lot of work ahead of us! It is still a work in progress! But, we finally have a house! :)
