Tyler is 18!

I can't believe it, my little brother Tyler is 18 years old today!! I was looking through some old pictures and I found a few that I thought were really cute. Here is Tyler through the years:
Now, how cute is this little boy!! He is sitting on top of our boat (the same boat we have today, which means our boat is old!! I think its time to upgrade dad) on our way to Lake Powell, which is still one of his favorite vacations. I love this picture because I will always remember this little boy.

Here is Tyler and I in Grand Central Station in New York. I think he is 9 or 10 here. Before he was ten, Tyler had already been to New York three times, lucky kid.

This is one of my favorite pictures. When my sister had Cheer Nationals in Florida when I was in college, I was able to come with my mom, dad, and Tyler. Since Emily was so busy, Tyler and I spent lots of time together. Our hotel was on the lake and we found this hammock and were laying on it together. Here is a picture of us from above. It really was a special time for me getting to spend so much time with him.

Here is another New York shot. We thought this sign was pretty funny. Luckily Tyler didn't get arrested for standing in this spot.

Here we are together on the jet ski at Lake Powell. I think he was a pretty crazy driver, even at this age!

Another Lake Powell shot. As I look back through all the years, I can't help but be so happy that Tyler was a part of my life. These past 18 years have been filled with so many happy memories because of him. I love living so close to him because he is able to pop by whenever he wants and hang out, even if I am not as fun as Travis is! :)

This is the latest picture I have of the both of us together. This was after he came back from Peru. I missed him so much and it was so hard to have him not be so close by and not have a chance to talk to him whenever I wanted to. I am going to miss him when he goes off to college and serve a mission. I am starting to understand what it feels for a mom to have a son grow up and leave the nest. I am glad I have 18 years of Graham to look forward to before that moment.

Happy Birthday Tyler! We love you!

I also have to give a shout out to my brother in law Shaun whose birthday is today as well.

Fun Filled Halloween Day

We had such a fun Halloween Day this year! It was so much fun to have Graham experience his first Halloween, even if he didn't have any idea what was going on. I had three different Halloween outfits that I wanted him to wear since he is never going to be wearing them again! I just thought he was adorable the whole day and had to capture some fun moments from the day:

Graham got to meet his Great Grandpa Joe for the first time since he was born. I think he was a big hit! It was so much fun to see my Grandpa and Graham together. The last thing Graham did when we had to go, was give his Grandpa a big smile. :)

Here is outfit number 1! My mom got him the BOO onsie and his aunt Desiree and Uncle Tyler got him the adorable Halloween beanie. Even though it was a little hot, I had him in the hat all day! I thought he was so cute!!

I couldn't resist a photo op with my cute little boy!

Unfortunately, Graham had to get his first set of immunization shots on Halloween. :( However, he was such a trooper and only cried because the nurse first had to wake him up and then had to hold his legs down to give him the shots. He stopped crying in the middle of getting them! My dad told us we needed to pinch him to find out if he feels any pain. This picture shows the little bandaids on his legs. Poor little guy!

After the doctor's appointment, it was time for trick or treating!! We got him all dressed up in his second outfit of the day, his little pumpkin costume, and took him out to a couple of houses in my parents neighborhood. We went to one house and then on our way to the next one, Graham promptly fell asleep! But we had so much fun, regardless.

Here he is with the Man in the Yellow Hat or his Uncle Tyler! Such an adorable little twosome! Thanks Tyler so being a good sport and wearing the costume for me!

After Trick or Treating, Graham helped Grandma and Grandpa hand out candy to the trick or treaters. My parents always sit out on their steps every year to wait for the kids to come. It was fun to be a part of that this year, especially since my mom had some fresh homemade sugar cookies waiting for us to devour.

Here is Grandma and Graham!

Here is Graham's last Halloween outfit, his Halloween pj's from his Great Grandma! He had such a fun day and I am so excited for next year's Halloween, he might actually be walking himself to all the houses, I can't even believe it!

Now, why is Daddy and Graham so happy the next morning? Because Graham slept through the whole night!! Seven straight hours!! Now, it was probably because of his shots, but still, we were loving life the next morning! :)

Is this my little boy?

I think this is Graham....
So, this picture above, to me, says it all...I think that Graham is actually doing better! Yeah!! This morning, I put Graham in his bouncer so that I could take a shower. I always put him in here and then take him in the bathroom with me, he loves to sit and listen to the sound of the water and I actually can get ready for the day, it is awesome. I got out of the shower and he was still happy so I started to blow my hair dry. About half way through this, he started to fuss a little bit but I wanted to finish so I let him cry. I was in the middle of getting dressed when he suddenly stopped and I looked over and this is what I found! A sound asleep little boy...I have never seen him do this, I am always rocking him to sleep. Now, I know that it sounds crazy because he cried himself to sleep, but I think he is finally feeling good. I think only a happy baby can cry himself to sleep (but maybe I am just wishful thinking).

Anyways, Graham is doing so well. Unfortunately, it is taking an allergen free formula to get to this point, which is very expensive. I also get to go on a major diet (no milk, soy, eggs, wheat, nuts, strawberries) because these could all be allergens which irritate his stomach. I haven't started yet because I wanted to make sure he really would feel better before I completely changed my life. It is going to be very difficult and I am not sure how excited I am about it (it is just so easy to give him a bottle) but I think I will give it a try.

One of Graham's favorite things to do is sit underneath his gym and play. He has so much fun and I have included a video at the end of this post to prove it. I swear he knows exactly how to get the music to play, he is already a genius!
Here is my naked little boy and his daddy. Travis is responsible for bath time and they have so much fun together. Graham actually loves to be naked and sit on daddy's lap while they listen to some James Taylor. I wanted to get a shot of this adorable twosome.
Here is the video for your viewing pleasure:

Two Months Old!

Time is just flying by! I can't believe that it has been two months since our little boy was born. Things have been going very well but we are still have some issues with eating. On Saturday, we found that he had a little bit of bleeding in his stool and so we immediately called the doctor who gave us the news that our boy has a milk allergy!! So, we had to switch to soy formula and I have to go on a dairy-free diet...yuck. I need to be convinced everyday that breastfeeding is worth it, it is isn't it?

Well, it seems to be helping but I am not convinced. Unfortuntely, a good majority of babies with a milk allergy are also allergic to soy, so we are crossing our fingers that Graham isn't one of them. We have our 2 month appointment on Friday and hopefully we will have some better answers then. In the meantime, I am again on my starvation diet since it is difficult to go dairy free (especially since I am the have a glass of milk with dinner type of girl) and constantly reminding myself that he is worth it. :)

Here are some pictures to prove it:
His favorite position to be in is sitting perched on the edge of a table. We were at my friend's son's 1st birthday party and he was getting a kick out of the picnic tables.

Here he is in his cute halloween outfit. Our little pumpkin! We got his picture taken on Saturday and we just couldn't get enough of how cute he looked in his little costume.

My Grandma got his these adorable little pj's that say "Baby's first boo." Since we were feeling halloween festive on Saturday, I had him sleep in these and I couldn't resist taking pictures because I thought he looked so cute. You can't see it, but his feet have little ghosts on them. Thanks Grandma!

Lastly, he finally got to wear his adorable tie onsie that his aunt Teagan got him to church on Sunday. Everyone couldn't get enough of how cute he was at church and I think I need to get him some more. I just wanted to eat him up, he looked so handsome!

Cooing...

This is a video taken from the other night in which we were finally successful in capturing his smiles and otherwise adorable noises. These noises are by far the best part of being parents, it's hard to explain unless you already know. Enjoy!

I Have the Best Husband....

I have the best husband in the whole world! Yesterday he came home from his class in Los Angeles with this beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sweet card, just because he wanted me to know how much he loves and appreciates me. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful man in my life and I just needed to take a moment and make sure that everyone else in the world knows this!

I have a couple of cute pictures of my sweet baby boy Graham. He is started to smile a little bit and he has the cutest little dimples that I love to see.
Here he is with dad!
I love this picture!! He is just so cute, but I still can't figure out who he looks like. What do you think?

Graham's Blessing Weekend

Two Sundays ago, we had the opportunity to bless Graham in our ward. It was such a wonderful and spiritual experience for everyone and Graham was an angel. We are so grateful for everyone who was able to come and support us. It really meant a lot to have so many family and friends with us on this special day. :)
One of the best parts of this blessing weekend was that all of Travis' family was in town, this was the first time that we had all been together since last Thanksgiving so it was a real special treat to have everyone here. Here are a couple of pictures of what we did on Saturday:
Here is Grandma and Graham getting to know eachother again. He missed his Grandma!
We went and walked around at the Irvine Spectrum. Here is Travis and Graham just kicking it after he was fed. I love my two boys!!
After the Spectrum, we decided to take everyone to Salt Creek Beach with the intention of relaxing in front of the ocean on blankets and maybe having a picnic. It was like 80 degrees and sunny in Irvine but this is what we found as we got the beach, dense fog and I swear it was like 50 degrees! We only stayed for about an hour, but we still had a great time. Here is Travis and Graham (the green bundle):
A great family photo op!
Here is everyone together (minus Tyler and Des, we missed you guys!):
Graham loved the warm and toasty blanket so of course, he promptly fell asleep!
Graham and Dad together:
Sunday was the blessing at our ward which is always a great time for some family pictures. After the blessing, everyone went over to my parents house for some yummy sandwiches and some good family time. Thanks Mom for everything! It was absolutely perfect!

Here is a picture of the entire Harmor clan!
Another great family picture. Graham looked so handsome in his little white suit.

Here is my mom and dad, my brother Tyler, my grandma, and my aunt Sheryl and uncle Mark:
Here is a Sims family picture (we missed you Amy and Emily, hopefully we will all get together soon!):
Graham and I (I am proud mama):
A four generation picture (Graham, me, my dad, and his mom):
Travis and I with his sister Teagan and brother Tyler:
Well, we had such a great time with everyone. It was so much fun to spend some time with Travis' family and we are looking forward to seeing you all again at Christmas (we are hoping to see you sooner than that, but we know we will at least see you then, hint, hint)!
