Disneyland with Payton and Owen

I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while, but I am so easily distracted! :)
Amy came and stayed with my parents a few weeks ago and of course, we all made a trip to disneyland. Here are some of my favorite pictures (i know there are so many of payton, but she is just so cute!):

Travis is just so excited to be here!
There is this little area in Disneyland where they have this Disney Princess Fair. I think Payton would be happy just staying there the whole day, she just loves it so much. Here she is in her pretty Belle dress showing us her perfect princess bow!
We took Payton on the teacup ride and she was laughing the whole time.
Here the little princess is resting after a low day in Disneyland. This is one of the letters that spells "California" outside of California Adventure. She got right in the "O" and just sprawled out like she owned the place. It was adorable.
Here is Tyler and Payton anxiously awaiting the electrical parade. Payton got her light up sword so she was very happy!
Owen also needed something that could light up so he got a light up necklace. I think he was pretty amazed at everything he saw.

We all sat and watched the Electrical Parade. It was the first time I had seen it since it left Disneyland and I had forgotten about how much fun it was to watch!

This is Payton's cute expression to seeing fireworks for the first time! Don't you just wish we could all go back to be kids so we could experience things like that for the first time?

Of course, Grandma was happy at the end of the day when Owen just laid in her arms and fell asleep.

A New Condie!

As of 3:03 am August 22nd 2007, there are now 4 Condies to visit in AZ. I hope I get this all right:

Hayley's Wedding!

Well, this is the summer of weddings for the Hormuth's! On August 4th, my cousin Hayley (sister to my cousin Bret who got married this last June) got married to her long time boyfriend, Mark! It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding right on the the beach in Dana Point at the ocean institute. Amy and her kids came down and we all had an absolute blast. Here are some pictures:

Payton was in absolute heaven! Before the reception, the Ocean Institute opened up the aquariums and Payton could not stop playing with the star fish. There was so many other things to see, but this was the only thing that involved her sticking her hands in the water and touching the animals. It was hard to get her away!
Travis and I had so much fun! I love going to weddings because it reminds me of how special mine was almost two and half years ago!
Here is the handsome Owen looking all grown up in his little shirt and tie! Everyone just thought he was so cute, I think he stole the show!
Who knew that Payton liked to dance so much? It got her away from the starfish, but all she wanted to do was dance. And of course, she always dragged me with her!

Weekend in Arizona!

Life has been so hectic lately, that I haven't had a spare moment to post all of the exciting things Travis and I have been doing lately (it really hasn't been that many). So, here it goes again!

During that last weekend in July, Travis and I drove down to Arizona to visit his parents and family. Tyler and Desiree also decided to come down so we had a little family reunion, which of course, made his parents very happy! :) We had such a great time and I know what you are all thinking, "Arizona in the middle of the summer, it must have been miserably hot!" But it really wasn't that bad. Saturday was actually really dreary and cloudy. Not so bad at all and even if it was, the heat is worth the great company!

Teagan was nice enough to cut my hair even though she is very pregnant and I am sure it wasn't easy to stand on her feet for that long. As usual she did a wonderful job. I didn't get a picture of myself after the haircut, so here is one before the new do so the next time you see me, you'll have a before and after picture.







Here is my adorable little niece Charlotte who already is so much like her mom. Here she is with her big girl shoes on (I think those are grandmas) and her pink purse.







We were also able to go down to see Amy's new house which of course, was absolutely gorgeous and so big! Everyone needs to come see this house!

Thanks Barbara and Morris for another amazing weekend and we can't wait to do it again when the baby comes! Love you!

The End of Harry Potter

Well, after years and years of anticipation and reading, Harry Potter has come to an end. I must say, the excitement that went over me as I held this last book for the first time was priceless. I have never felt so much sadness, excitement, and dread in my life. And now it is over....

Instead of buying two books or having one of us read it before the others, Travis and I read the book aloud. Every moment of excitement and sadness we experienced together, which made it even more special. If anyone has a chance, I would definitely find time to read Harry Potter. I won't say anything about it because I don't want to spoil the ending, but I loved every second of this book!

And so, thank you J.K. Rowling for all of the years of great reading! We will definitely miss our Harry Potter moments!
